Tiepolo Project

1998-2001

The project was conceived as a series of interventions that replaced spaces typically reserved for commercial speech with images of the sky, in a sense restoring views lost to billboards and buildings.  Over three years, black and white photos of the sky were placed in locations in Toronto and New York City.
